death is a scary thing

i havent experienced the thing death in a while,
the last funeral i went to was for a friends grandmothers funeral
not a person that i knew personally, but i went to pay my respects for him
i was there for him
and now i have a family member who passes
and where is the person there for me?
i have a few friends who got my back, but the rest
they dont understand,
like sucks real bad right now, but
theres always tomorrow,
and hopefully tomorrow will be better than today
like i said,
death is a fucking scary thing.

I do think New Year's resolutions can't technically be expected to begin on New Year's Day, don't you? Since, because it's an extension of New Year's Eve, smokers are already on a smoking roll & cannot be expected to stop abruptly on the stroke of midnight with so much nicotine in the system. Also, dieting on New Year's Day isn't a good idea as you can't eat rationally but really need to be free to consume whatever is necessary, moment by moment, in order to ease your hangover. I think it would be much more sensible if resolutions began, generally, on January the second.

1. to get heatlhy aka lose weight
2. family first
3. save save save save! money
4. travel, :)
5. have a 75% or above
6. receive my g1
7. convince my mom that we need to move
8. get a boyfriend
   
9. volunteer at a old folks home
10. paint paint paint my little heart out
